The original car was part of the highly competitive Super Touring Championship (STW) and represents the era of compact, agile, and technically sophisticated touring cars. Its sleek silhouette, clean lines, and motorsport-inspired livery make the 318i STW a true classic racing tourer of its time.

Tamiya recreates this iconic vehicle as a highly detailed Lexan body – perfect for fans of historic touring cars and collectors alike. The unpainted body comes with a full set of decals to accurately recreate the look of the 1995 BMW 318i STW.

The model is based on the robust and reliable TT-01E chassis , which impresses with its all-wheel shaft drive, uncomplicated handling, and ease of maintenance. The sealed gearboxes and central driveshaft ensure a clean, durable drive – ideal for both beginners and hobby drivers.
