The D-MAX Heat Shrink Tubing Set offers a reliable solution for insulating, protecting, and bundling cables and electronic components. It's designed for hobbyists in model building, electronics enthusiasts, and anyone performing general repairs who requires a clean and secure covering for electrical connections. When heated, the tubing shrinks tightly around the component, creating a protective, snug-fitting layer.

Key Features

• The set includes one meter each of red and black tubing, allowing for color coding of wires, for example, to indicate polarity.
• With a shrink ratio of 2:1, the tubing flexibly adapts to various shapes and diameters, ensuring a secure fit after processing.
• The Polyolefin (PE) material is characterized by its excellent electrical insulation properties and its resistance to liquids and mechanical stress.
• A wide operating temperature range from -55 °C to 125 °C guarantees safe use even under demanding thermal conditions.
• Processing is possible at a relatively low temperature of just 70 °C, making it easy to shrink the tubing with a standard heat gun.
• The minimal longitudinal shrinkage of only about 5% ensures that the covering remains precise and dimensionally stable even in length.

Application

This heat shrink tubing set is ideal for R/C model building applications to insulate connectors and wires, as well as for various electronics projects and household repairs. For application, a suitable heat source such as a heat gun is required to evenly heat the tubing until it has fully shrunk.
