The D-MAX Heat Shrink Tubing Set with a 10 mm diameter offers an effective method for insulating, protecting, and color-coding electrical wires and connections. It is suitable for use in RC modeling and various hobby electronics projects where wire harnesses need to be bundled or solder joints securely sealed. Thanks to its 2:1 shrink ratio, the tubing conforms snugly to the components it encloses, ensuring clean and durable electrical insulation as well as mechanical protection.

Key Features

• Made from flexible polyolefin (PE), which provides excellent electrical insulation and resistance to many chemicals.
• A 2:1 shrink ratio allows for a tight and secure enclosure, shrinking the tubing to 50% of its original diameter.
• The wide operating temperature range of -55 °C to 125 °C allows for use even under demanding thermal conditions.
• Processing is possible at a relatively low temperature from 70 °C, permitting the use of a standard heat gun.
• Supplied in red and black, facilitating color coding for polarities (e.g., positive and negative leads) or different circuits.
• The low longitudinal shrinkage of a maximum of 5% ensures that the tubing maintains its position during the shrinking process and hardly shortens the covered area.
